The Crawley Urgent Treatment Centre at Crawley hospital is a Sussex-wide service available to all patients, available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
Please note that Riverside Surgery is closed from 6.30 pm until 8.00 am the following day and closed on weekends.
For medical attention outside our surgery hours please call NHS 111, who now provide the out-of-hours service during this time period, by dialling 111. You will speak to a specially trained call handler who will ask you various questions such as your name, address, registered GP, a contact telephone number and the reason for your call. It is useful to have a pen and paper handy to make notes regarding the information you will be given. medical attention outside our normal surgery hours, please call the NHS out of hours service on 111.
The 111 service will assess your symptoms and if required refer you to the local on call duty doctor. The duty doctor will be on call for several surgeries and you will usually be asked to attend an emergency clinic so that the doctor can examine you.
